We’re really pleased to finally share the first few names joining us at Underground Fayre!
DUBIOZA KOLEKTIV
A brilliant live band from Bosnia, mixing ska, punk, reggae and Balkan sounds. Full of energy and with a reputation for getting entire festival crowds bouncing.
THE SPECIALS’ NEVILLE STAPLE
A genuine ska legend and one of the voices behind The Specials. Expect plenty of classics, great tunes and a proper singalong.
EMF
With their Gloucestershire roots, we thought it was only right to have a bit of local representation on the bill. Best known for their massive hit Unbelievable, they’re still putting on great live shows all these years later.
DUB PISTOLS
Long-time favourites who mix dub, reggae, ska, hip-hop and dance. Always good fun live and guaranteed to get people moving.
JAYA THE CAT
A fantastic mix of reggae, ska and punk, with a laid-back attitude and plenty of energy. One of those bands that are made for a festival crowd.
REPUBLICA
Bringing their unmistakable ’90s alternative rock and electronic sound, fronted by the brilliant Saffron. Best known for anthems like Ready to Go and Drop Dead Gorgeous.
There’s a bit of a ska and reggae flavour to this first announcement, alongside some indie, rock and punk. We’ve got artists covering plenty of other genres and more importantly ages with loads still to come, and as the line-up unfolds over the next few weeks, you’ll get a much better feel for the variety of music we’re bringing to Underground Fayre. We’ve still got all our headliners and second bills to announce. We’d hoped to have a few more names confirmed in time for this announcement but couldn’t quite get everything over the line (in usual fashion) . Rather than hold things up, we wanted to share what we could, so expect more frequent line-up announcements over the next few weeks.
HANGAR
The Hangar is in good hands. Joe, curator and one of the founders of Forbidden Forest, founder of Ultra Warehouse and part of the Underground Fayre organiser team, will be curating the area. He knows a thing or two about putting on a good party, and we’ll be sharing more about what he’s got planned and announcing the DJ’s very soon.
NEGUS 747
Our Boeing 747 behind the main stage offers something a little different, with bars, DJs, comfortable lounges, phone charging and a private garden shared with artists and bands. Whether it’s a drink with friends, a break from the weather or just the novelty of having a beer inside a jumbo jet, it’s a great place to spend some time over the weekend. Negus passes are available as an optional extra to your festival ticket and helps us keep the festival prices as low as we possibly can.
BELL TENTS
For those who fancy being a bit lazy, we’ll have glamping options available, including furnished tents with proper beds and bedding.
CHILDREN
Underground Fayre will always be about creating a festival that everyone can be part of and that includes the smallest members of the crew.
Across the weekend, Little Flyers will have their own space to explore, make things, get messy, laugh, play and discover. We’re putting together a programme of activities that feels like a proper part of the festival.
There’ll be plenty that families can enjoy together too. Underground Fayre is being designed as a place where children can experience their first proper festival. Live music, colour, creativity, camping and the freedom to explore somewhere a little different.
TICKET UPDATE
Our pre-sale ticket allocation sold out, and we’re now already halfway through our early bird tickets. Once those are gone, we’ll move on to general sale pricing.
Adult tickets currently are priced at £115 for Friday and leaving on Monday with early bird before they increase to £145 when they sell out being the final price for the festival. Prices are subject to a booking fee by the agent.
Underground Fayre will remain capped at 4,000 people. We want to keep things at a manageable size and create a festival where you can enjoy the music, the atmosphere and the whole weekend without it feeling overcrowded.
