We never wanted a VIP area at Underground Fayre. And Negus isn’t one. We don’t want different classes of festival goer, velvet ropes or areas designed to make the rest of the festival feel second best.
Instead, Negus is a way for those who can afford to put a little more into the weekend to help us keep general ticket prices affordable and help Underground Fayre become financially self-sufficient. And in return, you get something pretty unique.
Negus is the Boeing 747 sitting behind our Main Stage, and for the weekend you’ll be able to head inside, where you’ll find bars, DJs, lounge space, charging points and somewhere dry to escape to if the great British summer decides not to play ball.
Outside, there’ll be a private garden and seating area, also used by artists and bands throughout the weekend.
For anyone camping, it means somewhere to recharge yourself and your phone, grab a drink, get out of the rain for a while or simply sit down somewhere completely different.
It isn’t about being more important than anyone else. It’s about putting a little more in if you can, getting something genuinely worthwhile back, and helping us keep Underground Fayre affordable for everyone.
Oh, and you get to hang out inside a bloody Boeing 747.

A few things worth knowing before you step on board.
DO I NEED A FESTIVAL TICKET AS WELL?
Yes. Negus 747 is an optional add-on to your Underground Fayre experience, not a festival admission ticket. Everyone accessing Negus must also have a valid festival admission ticket, purchased separately.
WHAT EXACTLY IS NEGUS 747?
Negus is the Boeing 747 sitting behind our Main Stage. For the weekend, Negus pass holders can head inside the aircraft and enjoy a completely different festival experience.
IS NEGUS A VIP AREA?
No. Negus isn’t about creating different classes of festivalgoer or making anyone feel second best. It’s an optional extra that helps us keep general admission affordable and move towards becoming financially self-sufficient.
WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH NEGUS?
You’ll have access to the Boeing 747, where you’ll find bars, DJs, lounge space, charging points and somewhere dry to escape to if the weather turns. There’s also a private garden and seating area outside.
IS THERE AN OUTDOOR AREA?
Yes. Outside the aircraft, there’ll be a private garden and seating area, also used by artists and bands throughout the weekend.
HOW DO I BOOK NEGUS ACCESS?
Visit our Tickets page to add Negus access to your festival experience. Remember, a separate festival admission ticket is also required.
Please note: access to Negus is via stairs only, so unfortunately the aircraft is not wheelchair accessible and may not be suitable for those with restricted mobility.
